How can we help?

Open Family, choose a kid, then add a calendar link. Paste the ICS or webcal link the team publishes for calendar sync. Huddle reads that feed only — no passwords to other services, and no affiliation with any team app. Calendar links are private: we store them securely and never show them in full.

If a link stops updating, you’ll see an alert. Tap Fix Link and paste a fresh one.

Family invites bring another adult into your family. Team chats are invite-only; a new family that wants to join waits for approval. Use Let In or Not Now when someone asks to join. Invites use codes, links, and QR codes — never email.

Offer seats or ask for one in the team chat. The driver approves or declines. Every confirmed seat gets a one-time pickup code — say it at the curb. No PINs in a group text.

Leave-by times use drive times from Apple Maps. On game day, a Live Activity can count down to leave-by. Before a seat is approved, only your own family sees your pickup address. Pickup addresses are shared with the driver’s family only for riders with an approved seat, and are dropped at pickup or half an hour into the game.

Huddle can alert you when a game moves or is canceled, when a ride needs you, when it’s time to leave, and for RSVPs. Turn notifications on in iOS Settings if you want them. Leave-by times are calculated on your iPhone; pushes to others never include route times.

Sent alerts do not keep the alert’s words on our servers after they’re sent.

On game day, Huddle can show a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with leave-by, a countdown to when to leave, who’s driving, and the venue, field, and weather (with Apple Weather attribution from Apple WeatherKit). There is no background location tracking in v1.

Team and family chats are for adults only. Kids are profiles under a parent — no kid logins. Spaces are invite-only.

Messages are protected in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest on our servers. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Only members of a chat can read it under our access controls.

In a chat or on a person’s profile, use Report. Report sends the content, with the five messages before it for context, to us for review.

What happens next: we review reports, may remove content or eject accounts that break our rules, and reply when we need more detail. We usually respond within 24 hours. You can also email huddleapp@mail.grokbot.com with “Report” in the subject. See our Terms of Use for the full rules.

In a chat or on a person’s profile, use Block. Block means you won’t see their messages or get alerts from them, and they aren’t told.

In the app, go to Family › Delete Account. If you’re your family’s only parent, deleting your account deletes the family, its kids’ profiles, teams, calendar links and schedule. If another parent remains, you leave the family and it stays with them. Messages you sent are erased from every chat. Abuse reports are kept for up to 12 months to keep Huddle safe, even after an account is deleted.

Huddle Assistant is the in-app helper. It posts schedule changes, rides, and anything that needs you in your family thread — those posts are private to your family. Its cards in team chats (rides, Who’s coming, team changes) are seen by that chat’s members.

Sign in with Apple, or continue with a phone number and SMS code. Parents hold the accounts; kids don’t have their own.
